This goes from diagnostics over conservative treatment -including manipulation- to surgery, from biomechanics and psychology, basic science and epidemiology to outcome and health care analyses. Our membership reflects the truly international ISSLS prize winner: Function After Spinal Treatment, Exercise, and Rehabilitation (FASTER): a factorial randomized trial to determine whether the functional outcome of spinal surgery can be improved. This study found that neither intervention had a significant impact on long-term outcome.
